I already have an alarm system. Can I switch the monitoring to EIS?
Yes, most systems can be switched. Depending upon the equipment, there may be a nominal fee for programming and/or a conversion box.
If I have a system that is being monitored using a land line can it be switched to a cellular system?
Most systems can be converted to a cellular monitored system.
Do I have to have a land line (telephone line)?No, if you choose to have your alarm system monitored with a cellular modem, no phone line is needed. Elite Integrated Systems can monitor your alarm system either way or both.
Where are your control panels and key pads manufactured?
Our equipment is manufactured in the USA.
How quickly can we expect a response from the monitoring station once our alarm is activated? We strive to respond to all alarms within 60 seconds. We provide a state of the art monitoring facility that is staffed by specially trained professionals.
Many alarm companies only provide a couple of door contacts and a motion detector, is that adequate for my protection?
In an effort to provide customers with a safe environment, we will evaluate the area that needs to be secured and recommend a system that will provide a comprehensive level of security at the most economical cost. Obviously we can provide any level of security you desire from the most basic to highly complex systems.
Who will be responsible for designing our alarm systems?
A certified, Texas licensed professional design engineer will be managing the design and installation activity for EIS. Every client will be able to sit down and discuss their concerns to ensure they feel safe and secure.
How long has your company been monitoring security systems?
Our Texas family owned monitoring station has been monitoring alarms for over twenty five years.
Do you require clients to sign long term contracts? No. Elite Integrated Systems does not require long term contracts. We believe customer service is the key to success and our customers choose to stay with us because they trust us and feel safe.
Will I be able to get a discount for my homeowners insurance?
Yes, depending on your insurance company you may qualify for up to a 20% discount. You will need to contact your insurance company for details and eligibility.
What payment options do you offer?
We can accept payment any way you prefer. The majority of our clients are billed quarterly. Electronic checking draft and credit card debit are also very popular. We accept all major credit cards.
Is there any discount for pre paying my account?
Yes. Many of our customers choose to pay annually by simply paying for eleven months and then receive the twelfth month free. The savings is according to the type of system being monitored.
What is the cost of a service call should I ever need one?
We typically do not charge for service calls, but occasionally there will be a small charge for something that is completely out of our control.
Example - If you are replacing a door which needs a new contact, maybe adding DSL which will need a DSL filter, or switching phone companies which may require some rewiring, there will be a small service charge. If we did not install your system, we sometimes have to charge a small fee to cover the labor. Any equipment that we install will have a one year parts and labor warranty.
Can I get a credit for referring someone?
Yes. Each time you refer a friend or relative and they switch to our service, you get a free month of service. This is in addition to any free months you receive for paying annually.
Do I need a permit?
Yes. Most cities and towns have alarm ordinances that require that you register your system with the police department. Call your local police and have them send you an application. Please let us know the permit number as soon as possible.
